Maritime Robotics was founded in 2005, and has become an innovative leader in unmanned systems, as well as vehicle control systems and sensors therefore. MR’s three main product lines are unmanned surface vehicles, unmanned aerial vehicles and moored balloon systems. We have clients in many different markets, such as seismic, marine aquaculture, defense, and the oil & gas sector. We also participate in national and international R&D projects, to develop cutting edge technology for unmanned systems.
Have you ever wondered what it takes to build an unmanned system? Want to get (more) hands-on experience in building unmanned systems? Then this is the job for you!
In this position, you will design electronics for our unmanned airplanes and boats, such as our Otter unmanned surface vehicle. In order to achieve this, you are expected to work independently, but in close collaboration with our team of engineers. This includes all stages of the project, including development, testing and production. You will be based in our Asker office (images above), which is one of Maritime Robotics' side offices, and the main office for electronic circuit design. At times, you will travel to Trondheim for system production and testing, or company events.
